News Flash The September Local Meeting has been rescheduled account of the the Labor Day Holiday! The meeting will be held on Tuesday, September the 2nd at the usual time and place. Nominations will be accepted for the vacant positions of Local Chairman and Vice President. Elections (if needed) for the open positions, will be held on the October meeting date at the Summerdale Firehouse, from 7AM till 3:30 PM . Watch the Bulletin Board for further details.
Grand Lodge Convention Brothers Barney and Orwan will be attending the Convention in September. Stay tuned for further developments.
Picnic The picnic is once again history. It was enjoyed by active and retired Machinists alike. I was hoping to have pictures, but I am still learning in the digital age with the new camera. Stay tuned for next years dates!
Presidential Elections You can still register for the General Election in November. I know that you have heard this several times in the past, but this is probably the most important election to date. So, as they say, " Don't complain if you don't vote!" It will be up to you to study the issues that you feel are the most important and vote the way you feel best.
